The carrier I have now has the built in mag pouches. I thought they would be helpfull. But the only way to keep the mags in is with a flap. And I would prefer a open top style. Like the hsgi taco pouches. They provide good retention but are open top and fast. So with my current rig I can't use pouches like that.

you know what man i would go with a vest thats closest or closer to a ciras.. Thats what the marine corp uses.. And they have some on evike that look like the one from metal gear solid 4.. Or you could get one with a hydration bladder in the back like i plan on doing.. And if you plan on running fg atacs i would get tan accessories if i were you... Like tan vest.. The ciras is a good choice because it comes with everything you need.. Radio pouch, dump pouch, two pistol mag pouches, large adminster pouch, radio pouch, map pouch, 4 x2 or x3 depending on magazine size, m4 ammo pouches, pistol holster, m4 bungee sling, x2 grenade pouches, and quick vest detach cord for realism as well as a carry handle.. And you can even get one with a built in hydration bladder.. It is one heck of a vest.. And really its like all you need.. And they also have this new holster for your rifle... It has a special sling.. And your gun clicks into it on the side of your hip..

I'm not a fan of haveing pouches built in. I want to be able to put things where they work best for me.

actually you can move them where you want.. Theres videos on youtube for them.. Theres a velcro flap on the front that has all the accessories that are on the front on it.. But heres the thing they are molled on so they are adjustable... And there different versions of this vest as well.. Airsoft g.i. Even makes one i beileive..

PLate carriers restrict movement to much for my taste, but there is one I like Flyye Industries makes a clone of the Land Ciras Vest. IT moves well and there is a reason why so many people love the things. Have you looked into LBEs instead of vests or plate carriers? What about chest rigs like the pantac active shooters?

monkey google it... It comes and goes often in stock cause people love them, but monkey they are hot. Koyote has a point it's why I use an LBE instead of a vest. Be carefull.

heres the vest im interested in.. Its the flyye industries lt6094.. Now this vest will allow plenty of airflow... And is a quick detach... And im going to try to go for more of a special forces look... Kind of an army ranger style look.... I think once i am finally able to do all of this my loadout will look pretty legit... Attachments:

Monkey don't do the loadout thing before you find a gun. Special Forces Loadout? Anything you want. Litterly don;t jump on that train I know one operator that still uses ALICE stuff. Yes the review says the vest breathes. I am telling you right now in the muggy weather we have around here this will and seriously could KILL you. I've had heat stroke it's not fun buddy. Find something light. Find what works for you DO NOT get sucked into the world of gear junkies and unless you have worn it you do not know how it will breathe on you. No plate carrier will ever be breathable monkey. Remember they are trying to sale you a project, dont beleive everything they said I almost made that mistake with the new combat machine GBBR again.... anyway. With alittle bit of looking I will be getting an We Tech 39c GBBR, I got to try the gun out today and it's in my budget.
//Mini rant over... Darth vest looks legit made with some solid materials. Good luck
