I appreciate the feedback. .25s are fine. I know some people with gas guns love the .28, but I understand the Insurance Companies not listening to common sense of the Joule rating in airsoft. As long as they get to keep your money.... You can count me in for at least one trip. It's a bit further away for me then Butler, but I could make it a monthly trip for sure. I need to get my CQB skills up anyway. Thanks for the information. Thanx for your input... Being the ONLY indoor CQB field around I feel we will b successful. We have a meeting with the department of economic development today at 1pm. Will give everyone more info When I leave the meeting

Keep us informed. Me and Darth have been talking about wanting a place nearby to sling some BBs besides Bulter for awhile now. Good to see someone stepped up to it. Best of luck to you. And Please keep us all informed.

Great news. It's crazy the city is throwing in so much. I guess I had always thought that if a person wanted to open a business they had to invest there own money. Then people got on afterwards.

The city investment is interesting... Is the group looking for investors primarily to avoid any sort of business loan from a financial institution?

The city Of van wert is losing jobs and businesses. In an effort to gain them... They are throwing $ at businesses that want to come there. They r giving us 25k for each full time employee we hire... We r planning on hiring 4. We r still going to have to get another 80k through Loans... Investors etc. Our budget is 180k and that guarantees it open for a year. I really c it being successful if done right. The nerf field for the lil kids is what is gonna make us different from other places. Dad comes n with son to play nerf and falls n love with airsoft. If all fails. We WILL open n fall. if all works as planned we WILL open by spring. Everything at this point is looking really good though

Ah, interesting; I wasn't aware of the business environment in Van Wert. I'm looking forward to being a customer. I do like the idea of a Nerf field, I think that's pretty neat. Would you be willing to give us a little bit of background on the owners (not investors, of course)? Things related to the sport, like how long they've been involved in airsoft? If not, I totally understand. Edit: Also, if you're willing to take suggestions: - Lockers in the staging area where we can secure our belongings, maybe bring in our own padlock for the time we're there. Hopefully it'd never happen, but sometimes belongings leave without the owner.
- Security / cameras in the staging area and on the field.
I have a few contacts in the physical security industry, PM me if you want their contact info. Also, I work for a bank that has a branch about 20 miles north of Van Wert in Paulding. I can get you the commercial lender contact information as well, unless you'd like to utilize a bank in Van Wert.
