i got ahold of airsoftGI... they said that the reason the MAG midcaps don't work in the KWA M4 has to do with feeding problems. Since I have a Marui V2 gearbox I'm thinking they should work but then again I'm not sure what kind of gearbox the KWA has so I dunno if there is a difference there that affects the feeding

the feeding issues would have to be between the mag and its "mating" to the bottom "feed tube" of your hop-up... either it doesnt line up exactly right, or the "nipple" of the hop-up wont fit down into the mag, or the nipple does fit, but doesnt go "down" far enough to release the little tab that holds the BBs in the mag... since the problem seems to only be with the KWA reciever... my guess is that the mag is being held in a slightly different place in relation to the hop-up... meaning that the BBs arent making it into the nipple of the hop-up for some reason... we'll just have to play with it and see what happens... once you figure out WHY its not feeding right, then we can figure out how to fix it... ill say that all mags [for the most part] should be identical... maybe the reciever is a little larger and the mag fits loose enough that it moves and doesnt let the BBs go where they should... the MP5's my bro and me have are all metal... and the midcaps would just fall out of the gun... but i got them to work anyways... and both guns have worked with no problems so far...

yeah thats what i was thinking. I mean they said that the mags fit into the reciever well without coming loose, they just said that they wouldn't feed. So until I can test it i assume its the hopup (on the KWA) like you suggested. But since I am using my TM gearbox and hopup I think it should work out.
