People arrive, load mags, put gear on, shoot guns, etc.
Maybe its just me, but when I see the words "airsoft wars" I get the image of younger kids playing in front yards with clear plastic Walmart springers.

all the teams are separated before the game starts, if we don't do the arm bands, just memorize who is friendly and who isn't you could also tell by who is shooting at you and who isn't hey man don't be hating on the springers, i have had some reliable ones back in the day

Ha yeah right like I'll remember everyone on my team. Is the team pretty much whoever comes or do you guys have teams that come everytime?

well the amount of people there, we try to even up the teams, i haven't played there much, but i think they split them up by skill/ guns too Usually is split by picking teams. Kinda like in gym class. Two team captains, each pick one at a time. Other times its pick from a deck of cards/ shotgun shells. You get a black card you're on the black team, pick a red card you're on the red team. As for springers; I meant the cheap ones at walmart. They are fun, but not really skirmishable compared to a Echo 1/ JG.

If at the end of the game someone gets lost what happens? Will you guys come look for me if am able to come to some of the games? Or will you leave me and make me try to survive off the land till the next game lol. And also is there anything that goes on during the week or on saturdays? Is the place closed or what? If your referring to getting lost on the field... dont worry, you wont get lost ;D I can guarentee that any of the command staff that are present at the game will be sure you know where the boundries are. Although the field is a good size, its not so large that you could get lost on it. IF (big if) command staff is not present... just hook up with me or any of the guys from syracuse to follow around. We LOVE IT!! and we love teaching the new-guys that come to the field (makes us feel important ahahahaha) I dont know of anyone that regularly plays that would not be more than willing to take you under their wing and show you the ropes... its a good group of people out here ;D What happens prior to the games? just to add to some of things others have posted about this question... most of us gear up and do some BSing prior to the games. Once we "Muster" (ie: get people to together) we cover the game rules/objectives and set our teams and starting positions. As for setting teams... we have used many different ways to do this and try to keep things evenly matched. We like to see good shoot outs Like Kidd said, sometimes we do a captain thing, other times we pull poker chips or cards out of a hat/box... sometime we get inventive especially when we have other teams coming to the field and they want to stay together... its just a big bunch of fun anyway The general rules are posted elsewhere on the boards, but its always a good idea to ask questions on the forum and even at the field when you come. DONT FORGET YOUR DEAD RAG!! (but if you do forget it... dont worry many of us carry extras to the field) Oh! Im usually at the field twice a month (every other sunday) and will bring along my "cammo duffle". Got lots of cammo outfits in there. Might even have your size (im not hard to spot.. I think im the only guy wearing a cammo skullcap on the field ) SEE YA ON THE FIELD!!!!
