Hello, I have been searching and searching for a place to play. I just came across Butler Airsoft and I have my fingers crossed that there is still an active place to play. Can anyone verify for me please? If so, is there still play on the weekends? I have looked at the board some, but haven't come across this information. Is there a phone number for someone I can reach regarding field information? Please tell me there is still active play Thank you.

Sorry, should have added a little extra info.
I'm in my thirties and teach Elementary and Middle School.
I have an upgraded UTG Shadow Ops rifle, A KWA SR12, and a KWA ATP.
I just want to have a place to play and some people to play with. As well as make some friends.

We play just about every Sunday please read the rules and have a wavier Fantastic. I will have a look right after dinner. I haven't looked much at the directions, and I'm not very familiar with your area. Is it close to the Butler Fieldhouse where they just had the Highschool Basketball championships?

Active play every Sunday, very few that we don't. Love to have more targets to shoot at really. Come on down have a signed waiver and play a couple games with us. Do make sure to read the rules. And just to make sure it is in the current rules anyone under 18 has to where full face mask while playing, anyone above, does not have to but still must wear full seal goggles ANSI rated.
Dang I opened to post and then there were more messages. There is entire page on directions, which I followed and got there and since I could get lost down a straight hallway I assume they are easy to follow.

I found the waiver but haven't found the rules.....yet. I assume you are talking about field rules and not forum rules?

I think I just figured out the field is North of Ft. Wayne. I was thinking it was by Butler University.

Alright helping between a statestics test. We have a medal for that? Anyway. For Directions ((http://bpd35.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1921)) -Its good and got me to the feild should be a good way to start. For Our Rules of Conduct on the Field The following engagement rules must be obeyed at all times (FPS measured with 0.2 gram BBs): 0-350fps (1.14 joules): Full Auto, no minimum engagement distance. All engagements in the Fort must meet this velocity criteria and must only use semi auto. No full auto is to be used in the Fort at any time. 350-399fps (1.48 joules): Full Auto, 25' minimum engagement distance. 400-449fps (1.87 joules): Semi Auto only, 50' minimum engagement distance. 450-500fps (2.32 joules): Semi Auto only, 75' minimum engagement distance.
Everybody who plays shall know the rules and obey them. If there are any unclear matters, ask the organizers. In some games, there may be additional rules. In such cases these additional rules are told before the game. If you break or ruin something, you will be held responsible for any damages. Accidents do happen. Be careful and play responsibly. 1. All weapons should have the magazine removed as a precaution when the weapon isn't in use, or when in the designated “safe zone.” 2. All players will use appropriate safety goggles in the game and in the vicinity of a game. All goggles must be approved by the game organizers. DO NOT remove goggles during an ongoing game. All goggles will fit snugly against the wearer’s face and should not move during play. It is forbidden to shoot at someone without goggles. A full mask is not required, unless you are under 18 years old. All eye protection must be ANSI 87.1 1989 Rated. FULL SEALING ANSI RATED eye protection. 3. To aim for the head is not allowed, unless the target only shows those parts. Use common sense. 4. All players will observe "No fire" zones at all times. Active players are not allowed to be in "No Fire" zones or shoot in/over them. 5. All pointblank shots should be avoided. If it is necessary, try and aim at legs and lower body. Shooting at eliminated players, non-players, and judges is forbidden. 6. To constrain another player, via gear, cloth or other is not allowed, unless that person agrees to it. The only exception is a light tap anywhere on the body. This is considered to be a "knife kill". 7. Fireworks, pyrotechnics, and similar devices are only allowed to produce safe effects, as smoke, light and sound, and they will have to pass inspection by organizers before the game. 8. Hard rubber grenade replicas CAN be used if there is no other way to eliminate someone in a confined space, “I.e. inside a small room or automobile.” The rubber grenades have a kill radius of 10 ft. Avoid hitting the person himself at all costs. If other “safe grenades” are found and approved by organizers, they can be used as well. 9. Radio eavesdropping is not allowed. 10. Blind fire is not allowed. 11. When taking over a bunker you must use a pistol or hand grenade to take out people in the bunker. 12: Once you are shot, put your your red Dead/Kill rag on your head.
Command Staff is in the process of revamping the rules for clarity and for continuity with other airsoft fields in Indiana. Updates will follow. As always suggestions and comments are encouraged and welcomed.
And last but not least the waiver: (http://bpd35.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=roe&action=display&thread=1232)
Command let me know if theres a medal I'll be eating pizza and doing this d**n test if you need me.

where are you hailing from? I can put you in touch with other fields if we are too far away. BTW Welcome! Thanks much! I'm in the Anderson area. About 1/2 hour North of Indianapolis. It would be great to find something around here, but I'm sure I would see myself to your neck of the woods soon.

Well, both my daughters have opening weekend for softball. If I wasn't a coach I probably could. However, I think after this coming Sunday the rest of the Sundays during the season are off limits and unscheduled. Let me see if I can work something out for the following Sunday. I don't think I've written Sunday this many times in only a few sentences. Thank you for asking me, and I will definitely be figuring something out. Is there a store or pro shop around there?

And then we get to this. (NO ONE START ARGUEING AGAIN!) Cromags alot of us like, and owns a local online shop for now. He is in the process of Reopening a store still probally around the Hunington area. The other local store close to the field is The Ol Ball and Chain, they have alot of mixed feelings on the board. Some like them. Some Don't simple as that, personally I liked them, they had and have good customer service, but when it comes to tech work and prices they fall short to many times for my liking.
We do have a large collection of knowlege in our ranks and techs or at least people who know enough to trouble shoot do play at the field and while I am relatively new I trust most of everybody on the team, and some of the other regulars.
Alot of us are using Evike and Airsoftgi Recently. Personally I am waiting for Cromag to open up shop again. Weaponblender is another descent site, but they dont keep track of their invotory to well IMO.
Hey whenever you can make it man we look forward to having you.
