Im a Fort Wayne player looking for airsofters in northern Indiana. Im currently buying a AMG MP40. Later a M240 SAW para. im a WW2 buff and buying a replica German military uniform. i hope that wont be a problem. might be willing to buy modern military outfit but will not spend much on it. My girlfriend is willing to play but she wants to see a game or two played before she decides to get into it enuff to buy a gun. I also have two friends here willing to play. we have two privet fields for play if your willing to try another location for a change of scenery. I am a collage student and currently jobless so gas is a problem but hopefully starting back up as a bouncer for some quick cash to finish paying for the MP40. Im not loaded and not willing to buy a TM gun or anything else costly. the choices i have made on weapons come from research and personal preference and not willing to get anything else off suggestions so dont try and tell me that my picks on weapons are crap and i should get better ones. i seem blunt im sorry other groups told me to ditch my picks and go for only TM guns or Classic Army weapons. I go by two call signs i know its not normal for me to pick my callsign but these were given to me by others. "The Skunk" and "Doc" or "Doc Skunk" any will work. so ya thats it im going to stop blabbering on and end this so.....
:end transmission:

The AGM MP40 is a solid gun, one that I wish I never sold. It is heavy, but that's because it's made from stamped steel and bakelite, just like the real thing. The one drawback I had with it is that there are only 50rd magazines available, so in order to have a skirmishable load of magazines, I had to spend more on magazines than on the gun itself.
I say go for the WW2 impression, if I had the money I would do it myself, but WW2 German uniforms (even repros) are way out of my price range.
You'll find that there aren't too many Classic Army's and Tokyo Marui's around these forums, I think 99% of are firm believers in Echo1, JG, AGM, and CYMA (though many of us have owned TM's and CA's).
Where in Fort Wayne are your fields, because I live on the south side of Fort Wayne.
Good luck with the WW2 impression, and we hope to see you at a game soon.

I have an MP40 and a nearly complete German para uniform. If you need to get ANY ww2 equipment or uniform items please contact me and I can tell you were to get good quality, affordable stuff. Many dealers think that their stuff is worth it's weight in gold... basically it's the exact same stuff you can get elsewhere for half as much. There is also lots of bad stuff... you need to be aware of.
Please contact me at: wchc.ed@wcnet.org

hello... im the new guy from ashley...[currently in process of moving to garrett]. saw the german WWII uniform questions.... I do WWII reenactments, and I have 2 "SS" uniforms, and a paratrooper "tropical" uniform... i build "gasguns" ... for "US" that means that the belt fed MG's use propane and oxygen-and sparkplugs... to simulate "firing".. you get the "bang" and muzzle flash, and thats it... the group i belong too owns one of the german "TIGER" tanks used in the movie "SAVING PRIVATE RYAN"... im kinda wanting to join yourguys outfit... but havent done ant airsoft stuff yet... so im not sure whats a GOOD gun and what is crap... im the type to get a MP5SD, or a SAW, M60... i like to shoot... i also used to be a bouncer for 17 years [saw the ftwayne guy did that], i also used to work at tippman making paint ball guns for a couple years.... im the "armorer" in our reenacting unit and work on "real" guns... blankfire or "gas"... looking forward to chatting with you guys and possibly starting in airsoft... im ex-military... was a "combat controller" in the airforce, then started to cross train to "pararescue" but didnt finish that training... i tend to be "agressive" in my manuvers, and like to take the fight to the enemy... can your team use a guy like me? i may be able to bring more friends over to this at a later date... let me know...............thanx, curt.

we can get the WWII uniforms for around the 200.00 dollar range... seem to be decent and dont fall apart while theyre on you... [some cheap stuff will have the buttons just fall off... and "seams" just blow out as your walking around] I, personaly, have done the german thing enough that im "itchin" to get into a more modern type of battle so i can use "modern" guns... german stuff is real hard to find and expensive... as far as the "real / authentic" stuff we have to use is concerned...

thank you for the replies. im happy to be apart of a good group side from the Ruff Ryders they didnt treat me well because of my choice of weaponry. owell. i will be more than happy to join in a few skirmishes with ya'all and trade some bbs. i would be happy to join the squads that are being formed and put my skills i learned in the Fort Wayne PD to use for you guys. let me know what i have to do to join ya'all squad. I like the MP40's low-cap because its more of a realistic warfare since you have to change mags alot makes it seem more real vs a hi-cap going around unloading in a unrealistic way. i found a site selling MP40 clips for 5$ apiece. i plan on getting at least a total of 7 mags
