Personaly if your looking for an all metal M4, i'd highly suggest looking at the TSD (SRC) M4 they have a metal body and a metal gear box along with a 60 day warranty. I've had mine for about a year now only thing that I had an issue with was the barrel wobble but that can eaisly be fixed...they shoot around 370 - 380
But if your looking for a gun that works flawless for a little less with a plastic body am with the other guys and saying JG is a great company.

seems like youre heading in the right direction... all of the "rails" on these guns are the same, you can put just about anything you find on these... any vertical foregrip you find at an airsoft store [and real M16 companys for that matter], will fit on the rail... its just what "look" you want your weapon to have...

The barrel, rails are all metal and the gear box but the body is plastic.

no the S-system has a plastic reciever like the rest of the JG's... HOWEVER... it DOES have the front foregrip [RAIL SYSTEM], that IS all metal, and the top rail on this runs all of the way back to the rear sight area on the top of the reciever. this makes a "bridge" between the plastic reciever and the sturdy foregrip, which strengthens the gun ALOT. as far as the sight is concerned, the S-system has both front and rear "flip-up" sights... just leave them down if your setting a scope or some other style of optic on top... if you decide to get a gun that has the standard front sight that gets in your way, then you'll needto get a "spacer" to raise the scope up so it looks over the sight. [thats what i had my G&G at PB sports for the other day when we met, im running the paq2 battery box on top, and i could see it in my scope] i bought a 3 rail spacer to bump the ACOG scope up to clear the sight window... the spacer lso helps some people that wear goggles or some glasses that get in the way when aiming the rifle... but out in the field, you probably not really goin to be using the scope/optic to actualy "aim"... maybe at first, until you get into the heat of the battle... then you'll just learn to "point and shoot", and keep both eyes open to see other guys movement, correcting your shots by just watching where the BB's are going... [kinda loose sight of them after a while if your shooting long distances] the wind plays hell on the accuracy of the BB in flight, so concentrating with one eye looking thru a tube, kinda works against you knowing where your rounds are actualy goin... the optic you talked about gettin is good. just look at the overall look of the gun... and then pull it up quick, like your goin to shoot something, see where it fits into your body as a whole and what you need as a sight picture... everyone is different and they all handle guns different too... thats what makes it a personal thing... what works for you, may not work for someone else, and vice/versa... ya follow me???

SUGGESTION: if your goin back and fourth over a couple different guns... id say go for the chaper one first... since you are kinda new, you'll be wanting to buy mags, better batterys, gear, clothes, and all kinds of other stuff that costs more money... so dont blow your wad all on just one gun... even when you think you have everything, youll run into a situation that makes you want something else... My JG S-system is just as a good shooter as my G&G that i have 4 times the money in...

If your really going to buy a 551 EOTECH sight, what I did was adjust the halo sight onto the front sight. So its almost like the rear sight only its an EOTech. Also I don't think buying a $300+ dollar EOTECH would be smart, because they have replicas that do the same thing. Now, if you have a real firearm like an AR-15. Then it would be a good idea, because you could use it for both, but if a BB hits the sight, it probably wont be good.

DONT BUY A REAL SIGHT FOR AIRSOFT !!!!! dont do it ... find a "clone", they are out there... PB has that "swiss arms" [aimpoint] scope that is awful NICE... thought about gettin one of them myself] would rather see ya go with that if your thinking of dropping hard cash, [ for the "real" EOTECH]... hell, you could buy 2 more guns...
