well... the only things that i think would be an issue for anybody making anything is... first- whatever you shoot out has to be a "safe" projectile... like a nerf football or something like that, and it shouldnt be aimed straight at someone... more like a 45deg. angle or something like that... 2nd- the "propulsion system" has to be a SAFE one... thats going to have to be something that the team "votes"on... whenever i get around to it, ill be using the M203 grenade shell for my propulsion system... sisnce its already a safe item in airsoft... i had a potato cannon that we just "squeezed" a little too much stuff into to try to get more distance... between a tight fitting projectile, and the amount of flammable "fuel"... it blew up and shattered the reducer that goes from the fuel charge area to the barrel... nobody got hurt, but that was the last time we made anything out of plastic, and "lit" it... 3rd- i think it would have to "look" like a real weapon of some sort... LAW rocket, mortar, whatever... let the other guys ring in on this one... we dont need any "injurys" on the field.... what do ya think guys???

No potatoe cannons would be to dangerous to use I think. Would all depend on the means of firing it . Dave has one and I have said many of times we should get it and use wadded up paper with 100 rds of BB's in it and utilize it as a mortor tube.

When I posted that, I thought this would happen. I don't care either way, I just threw it out there, better to ask then just show up with it.

That would be a pretty good idea, I think it should be ok aslong as it's just BB's being used.

or nerf footballs, tennis balls..... all projectiles should be fired at an "arching" trajectory towards the target... not straight at it... except for the BB type.. what do ya think?
