I've looked at that one myself. The one thing I don't understand is why they make it run off of the larger, more expensive/rare C02 canisters instead of the cheap/easy-to-find .12g powerlets you can get at Walmart.

Dunhams has them I went and picked one up it shoots pretty good but it doesn't really have any range at all.

For me, unless it shoots more than a tri-shot spring shotgun, I'm not going to fork over the money for a gas shotgun.
This is my dream for a shotgun: - Spring-powered - Designed for .12g BB's - Shoots 5-8 BB's simultaneously
It would be designed for short-range (40-60ft), and low power (220-250fps) with .12g BB's.
I think the thing that keeps the clone multi-shot shotguns from being great is that they're trying to do too much. They want good power with .20g-.25g BB's, so they sacrifice range and require a heavier pump action than necessary. They try to go for range, so they use hop-up on the top barrel, which often over-hops.
They already make shotguns that shoot multiple BB's out of the same barrel, so I would imagine that it would be very possible to make a double/triple inner barrel shotgun that could in theory shoot 3 BB's out of each barrel, giving a nice 6-9 shot spread at close range.
It would be understood that this is a short-range weapon only, and so they wouldn't have to worry about high power and long range.
