okay I'm a big p90 fan and i want to buy an airsoft p90...but my biggest concerns are what brands to buy, where to buy, and what kind of magazines i want to buy...I've heard good things about the 1500 round m4 mag operated magazine but i don't know if i would need that much and i am concerned about rattling of ammo in a gun that would be used primarily in cqb...i am thinking about buying 2 hi cap mags but i thought i should get some professional input b4 i blew money....i want to spend around 200 bucks and comments on this sight have never steered me wrong...

There are only three brands that sell P90 airsoft replicas. Besides Well. Which is like $30. Tokyo Marui Classic Army KS/ Echo 1 All 3 have their own pros and cons. However if you go on airsoft forums (ASF, ASR, ASB, Arnies, etc.) Usually if not always the TM P90 will be suggested over the other two. Here are some stuff about them. (*Note prices usually don't include a good battery and charger.) Tokyo Marui P90 $264ish @ AirsoftAtlanta: The only con in my eyes of this gun is the price. Do NOT let the 290-300 FPS make you look down upon it. FPS means nothing. It doesn't effect accuracy. Just range, and with the TM having a very nice quality barrel and possibly one of the best hop ups. This gun will be great for CQB. If you're going to use it outdoors. You might want/need to upgrade it to a higher FPS so you can use a heavier bb. Which will give you better accuracy, range, and able to shoot through brush better. Take Kyle's MP7A1 for example. He used .28g bbs with it and hit a paper plate at 150ft away. Of couse he had to shoot a bit to hit it. By the way the MP7A1 shoots an average of 250 FPSw/.2g bb. I chrono'd mine the other day and it was shooting around 245fps. There are also accounts of TM guns lasting 6+ yrs. Classic Army P90 $170-$250 @ ASGI: A clone of the TM. There are many variants of the CA version though. Including a Sportline and full metal versions. Which explains the $170-$250 price area. Im not really a fan of CA. (Read lots of accounts of them failing.) Most current issue of a CA failing is Matt's (Ferratus) M4A1 Sportline. Haven't really read accounts of the P90 model failing. (Can't say that I actually look for posts about them failing.) KS/E1 $120-$150 @ ASGI: Again a clone of the TM. The KS is the OEM. While Echo 1 slaps on some trades, a 30 day warranty, 2 mags, and some internal stuff (Madbull bucking, metal bushings, and maybe a less FPS rated spring.) . It is cheaper then the TM and CA. I've had good experiences with Echo 1 guns rebranded by JG. However I never had a KS made gun. So I can't recommend it. I've read good things about them, and bad things about them. : www.airsoftforum.com/board/Ks-P90-t139085.html&p=17944720 Probably needs a shim job. My Echo 1 G36c had like 6 shims total in the gun. About the M4/M16 mag conversion thing. Personally I think it looks wierd, and that M4 mags should be in M4s. Same thing with P90 mags. (Even though the AR-57 looks cool.) If you want these guns for cheap. Try looking at classifieds on forums. For example I found a TM P90 which comes with a, G&P Aimpoint, First Factory P90 Boxmag, Classic Army 300rd P90 Hicap, and Sanyo 8.4v Battery. Being sold for a good price. (Although its not as heavily upgraded like Kyles, and is alot more used.) So in summary. You might want to just google reviews of each gun and pick which one fits you best. EDIT: Wow, didn't know I wrote that much.
