Found my way to this site via Youtube. Mentioned something about War in DeKalb and one thing lead to another and here I am. So, I'll browse around and leave a few posts and save my money for a better gun Since our family wars in Auburn have no comparison with your battles most likely. But might be fun to join a battle and get some photos. ;D -DJT

A little about myself... Mid 30's, office manager, part time on designing and maintaining websites from the home, hobbiest photographer and like old cars and a RTCW Online junkie. Grew up in Waterloo, now living in Auburn. Been overseas to Vietnam 3 times since 1999. Back in the mid 80's, my brother and brother-in-law use to have rubber band gun fights in the basement. Tear the basement apart making forts and shooting each other. Then it progressed to disc guns (shot little flat round discs). Recenlty my brothers kids got a few airsofts and well.... we 3 got some for Christmas 2 years ago and had a battle in the woods behind my sisters house. Had a blast, tho out guns are in the 20.00 range, still it was fun. We've talked about getting better guns, but haven't yet... The first year there was snow on the ground and not wearing my boots but my brothers instead, um... yeah.... my foot slid out in the snow. Nothing like running, tripping on a branch hidden by snow and falling while losing your boot. And our team forgot hats, so my nephews were kind enough to loan us some, tho they were BRIGHT ORANGE. So we stuck out like sore thumbs. Saw that there are some links for retailers and some advice columns, think I found a home to hang out at.

Same here to a degree. 30's, Used to play paintball when I was in my teens. ( Yikes that was a while ago ) and then stopped as I got a little older. Started online fragging with a buddy online that has the same career. Started Team Mayhem, played AAO , BF2 . Still do both ( when I have time off ) . Brother in law started this airsoft deal about 1 and so on year ago when he along with his son came over to my house with a spring deal he had bought at Wal-mart for 15 bucks. Being the curious person I am , I searched out airsoft. Well here we are today. Several weapons later and SEVERAL people later. Started playing with 5 of us every weekend in the woods. Now we are up to 18-19 people almost every weekend. If you have any questions about purchasing a new system ask. No question is without cause, We would rather you ask then purchase a gun that you will regret having a later. !!
