The AEGS in question are these two.

I am having a bit of trouble with this AEG. It shoots great on full auto, but when I fire semi, after the first trigger pull it refuses to shoot and the trigger locks up(sometimes) or it will allow me to squeeze the trigger again but won't fire. If I put it in full auto, right after the problem occurs, it will shoot just fine. But when I switch back to semi, it will fire 1-2 times before the problem occurs again.
I was doing some research and found this link, guessing this might be the problem.

If this is the problem I found this part that looks like it would help, but I'd rather not add modifications if it can be fixed another way.

I was also reading that some AEGS are very picky with the battery it needs to take for the gears to make a proper rotation for everything to reset and fall into the correct place for the next shot to be taken without incident. But this Cyma AK47 and my JG mp5 ris are the only 2 that have this problem, so I'm not sure that this would be the issue seeing as I have around 8 other AEGs and none of them do this. But just incase this is the issue, the batteries I use are 8.4v 1600 mah intellect mini or 9.2v 1600 mah tenergy mini batteries in the AK. And the stock battery in the mp5. Do you think the batteries are the issue?
Also, it could be that the selector plate or cut-off lever is bad? If so, how would I be able to tell without ordering new ones to replace them with(I don't want to order new parts if I am not sure that they are the for sure problem.)
Has anyone else had a similar problem while shooting in semi, and if so how did you fix it?
Thanks for all the help in advance!
