PICTURE HEREManaged to catch a spring, piston, and cylinder upgrade kit from PB Sports last week or so, Slacker came over today and we gave installing it a go, you can sort of see the original internals in the packaging, crappy plastic spring guide and piston, and about an inch or so shorter than the upgraded spring. Hopefully all goes well with that and my trigger won't crap out (for at least a while, after may 18th if it has to). Gave it a test shot on a waterbottle, managed to punch right through it with the first shot. I'm quite frankly scared of what this thing is capable of, need to get everything re-greased and re-oiled before shooting it anymore. And I bought a KWA KMP9, not much to say about it at the moment other than I'm estatic, it's gas, and it's gonna be loads of fun to use.

Just spent an hour or so field stripping it, applying some silicone oil to the inside and found out that the barrel locking pin and take down clamp are terribly annoying to take out and put in. With some help from the manual and a youtube video I managed to get everything put back together in hopefully working order, cocked back the hammer, inserted an empty mag, though it had some green gas still in it, released the bolt catch, fired, and the bolt catch engaged again. I don't remember it doing that prior to my adventure in disassembling it down to the barrel assembly, bolt carrier, and muzzle. Did I possibly f**k something up? Or should it be doing that to begin with? Disregard that, the bolt catches when I've run out of ammo. Adventures in learning how to operate and maintain a gbb opposed to a good old-fashioned bolt.
