Hi everyone My name is Nathan, I live in Huntington. And I (and possibly two friends) am very interested in joining your team, but would like to get some more information. Such as... When do you meet, do you play against other teams, is there an age requirement to be on the team, how many people are on the team? Thanks for the info, Nathan

First off Nathan welcome to the Butler Airsoft Forums.
I will try and tackle your question(s).
We play every weekend.... or we at least try to ... sometime work or vacation can get in the way..... We actually have three different areas we have to play in depending on environments we usually play here in a 20 acre area .
15 is the youngest we allow on the field.... 16 is good to go...
We have not had the opp to play with other teams as of yet. I have been getting countless emails through the past couple of weeks for some reason and have been trying to sort them out one by one.
Most recently I received an email from a team in Defiance Ohio advising that they would like to sit up a scrimmage sometime.
We want to play other teams however it would be our thoughts that with every practice scrimmage ( and now starting to work on Milsim tactics ) that we will improve.... By next spring ( At the latest ) I would like to get everyone going smooth enough to start doing some traveling to various events around Indiana.
Right now our team has about 8 people who play with about 3 or 4 extras that come out now and again. We have at least 6 that will make it out almost every time we play.
Hope that answers some of your questions.
Matt

Yes, thank you. I am 16, and my two friends that will probably join if I do are 17 and 16. My two friends have MP5's, and I'm thinking about getting a CA G3SG1, we all have side arms. What else would we need to join your team?

What else would we need to join your team? Well I would suggest some type of camo ( how much is up to you ) ... If you come in full face paint we dont mind... The more the better obviously... I do just check out my pic LOL. You can use face masks that is up to you HOWEVER it is madatory eye wear when on the field or in the hot zones so to speak..... Thats all we require. We do utilize radios the little 2-ways you can get at wally world if you like....

I too want to join but I'm not old enough to your requirments. I am 13 but I'm a little experience. I'm not immatuer to be on this team. there is only one problem, I live near southbend but It would take me 4 hours to get there every weekend if I can join. that would suck. I would have to go like twice a month. is that ok if someone does that?
I know that I'm young but If I put my mind to it I can win. I have been told by a man on your team that you accept 13-and up. his name is bpd35. have you heard of him?

We have never had a 13 year old out before... I can tell you that if you are under 18 we have a waiver form you must fill out which I can send to you.
The main thing in playing or " requirements " if you will is that you must take thing seriously. Airsoft is a sport but due to the nature of the weapons involved it is a serious sport. We do not tolerate behavior that would put at risk the safety of others and or the team in general.
Other than that character is the main thing. If you have a poor character you will be asked to leave and not to return.

For a sport like this I would take this very seriously. I don't cheat, I don't have bad sportsmanship, and I don't have a bad character. I am very friendly and obeying. So if someone game me orders I would do it.
If someone shot me I would take it like a man. I play backyard airsoft all the time with airsoft guns. I got shot so many times it doesn't hurt anymore. well at least for my friend's gun.
