Well am not very good with introductions so here it goes I live over in Northwest Ohio am about 45 minutes from Fort Wayne Indiana. I'll be honest I don't know that much about air soft at all I've never really got a chance to go out and play with anyone the closet thing I've done is paint ball so am unsure which company's are the best to buy from and if am going to pay over 400 or so for a gun and accessories I'd like something that can handle it. Also I asked at the paint ball shop in Fort Wayne (PB Sports www.pbsports.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=9&Itemid=10) and they weren't sure if Butler Air soft existed any more so you might want someone to go up there and say something.

For the UMP you'll need a hi-cap for sure, the MP5 looks safe but you should ask some of the higher ranked members

Thanks for stopping by. WE are about 5 -10 minutes west of Edgerton just FYI. If you have any questions feel free to ask. As far as PB is concerned they are a tad over priced so make sure you know what you want before you get it and again dont be afraid to ask. We will stear you in the right direction. Our other website ( Still in works is ) www.butlerairsoft.us. Matt

Most of those are good choices. If you are liking the m14 i suggest looking at the G&G ones as they blow almost every other one out of the water and are only a lil more than the ebr.

Welcome. I think the three AEG's are good choices, you can't go wrong with Echo1 anymore.
As far as PBSports goes... I would steer clear of them if at all possible, they're overpriced and under-informed about airsoft.

No question is annoying ( Unless it has already been asked 20 thousand times and is posted over and over again. A lot of forums you will find attitude. Here is you will not. Everyone is new or a " Noob " if you will at some point or another. As far as " Service " areas you will find a vast aray of places that offer service or repair. Just make sure you research the place plenty before you send them something. luckily we have our own tech who is VERY good with upgrading and or repairs. Some good websites to visit for information are as follows : Arnies airsoft airsoftretreat.com Indiana airsoft association which are a part of . Clips are refered to as " Magazines " LOL As far as batteries are conerned the higher the Mah the longer it will last. I only have two batteries but an extra is always a good thing as they never last forever so it is nice to have a back up. As far as Magzines are conerned. We utilize high caps so 3-4 whatever . It is up to you. You will not be criticed for what you have. Never be afraid to ask. That is how you learn.

Well I can say with that post my fears are slowly decreasing now i'll just need to find the right place to purchase my gear. Since you don't suggest buying from PB sports. (I took your post down from there because I didn't have a piece of paper on me but i'll take it back up there when I get my paintball gun back.) I can't remeber who this couple was but at the fort Wayne gun show in the collosium they were selling some high end aeg they were asking I think 600 for an ump...but thats been a couple months. i'll just keep priceing around for some thanks for the help. www.airsoftretreat.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=116&cat=66Found a good review on that ump so I think thats what i'll start with

Thats not the most recent version. The most recent one is much better and they fixed all of the errors in it.

Just keep your eyes and ears open. Airsoft Arms is kinda high price but they are good to work with as well. I have placed several orders through them all with no problems. Another decent one in Ohio is Pyramid Air... made a couple good purchases through them as well.

I personally own the Vector Arms Mp5 from Echo 1 and love it. It shoots pretty hard and I am going to be putting a tight bore in it pretty soon. Should help out some. But I love that gun. I only had one issue with the right side selector switch. I will hopefully be working that out this weekend. But it is a great gun!!!
As a side note. I got the one with the sliding stock. I may recommend the full stock because you are more flexible with battery options. The battery goes in the front pistol grip on the sliding stock one. I do not mind that, but some may. Just a FYI
