So here i am bored and looking at my GGB 4.3, and i got a can of duster for my keyboard (needed cleaned horribly recently) and was like i wonder?? first off b4 i tried anything i lubed my rings in the mag and any other parts in the gun itself, (duster is very dry and very cold) tested to see if the little spray straw that comes wit it compresses the entry nozzle in the mag, and it did! so i shot some gas in it little by little and it totally fired off! but since the duster can only has so much pressure in it i was only able to get three shots off b4 it was empty lol, but still if i can find a higher pressure duster that's still like $6 a can, way cheaper than green gas and propane, alos as long as i relube it after each mag should be good. If anyone has thoughts on this i'm all ears. or if i shouldn't be doing this at all stop me now! lol

6.00 is cheaper than propane?
how do ya figure?
2 cans of propane at walmart for 5.00..... and they are bigger than a spray can... [16.4 oz]

but then i have to buy a propane adapter and the cheapest there is like 5 bucks and i wouldnt trust those for sure, and i also discovered the duster actually does have a bit of a silicone in it, not a lot but a bit, but like i sed its only like 5 shots then its out, so its not worth it bc of that

The reason I don't use propane is because of two things one being that I don't have to worry if I put enought silicone spray in the adapter and the second reason is because I can't stand the smell of propane.

Green Gas is just propane with Silicone already in it.

I know it's just propane with silicone in it but by using it you don't have to bother with adding the oil yourself...besides useing regular propane will void warranty on KWA pistols.

i personaly use propane and drop some oil in every now and then...
ever notice when ya shoot green gas that ya have a bunch of oil all over the outside of the gun...
i think thats too much oil...
after usin them all, ill then add oil to the mag i stick in the gun....
you know how UNACURATE guns are after ya clean them.... because of the silycone...
so... i "mix" my own... one mag full with oil will be enough for like 2 or 3 mags [which i carry 2 xtra mags...

Being as how the guns were designed to use green gas...i've yet to have any issues with any of my gas pistols.

i make it a point to (after every match) tear down my guns as far as necessary to clean and re-lube them. so making sure my guns are clean and lubed for next time use, so staying lubricated is not a problem for me, and i've also decided that for during combat use to keep a bottle of C.L.P. on my vest. i'll probably never need it but just in case. you never know
