So the gun is coming today will be writting a heavy review of my new toy. I'll provide alittle real steel history in this post and move from there. The Galil can be known as a mutt gun. During the war with Egypt the Isrealian military found the FAL battle rifle ill fit for the job, and noticed the Egyption AK47s amazing reliability in the fine dust enviorment of combat. The Isrealian Defense Ministry then took the AK47 and took principles of the Amercian M16 and made the Galil. The AR of type 91 was chambered in the same round as the M16 while the ARM used a 50 round mag of 7.62 as the standard squad support weapon. While this rilfe did become the official gun of the IDF after the Yom Kippur War, it did not see alot of action as America gave thousands of M16s to the nation of Isreal at the same time. They were mainly seen in use by paratroops, and Armor Forces for the folding stock, something the M16 rifle did not and could not support because of the gas tube's bulging at the sides, someting alot of people do not know. There are many versions of the gun including a prototype carbine version, but the two most known for accuracy and reliability was the Type 91 Assualt Rifle and the Type 92 ARM (Automatic Rifle and Machine Gun). This gun is in use mainly by small African Nations and has some use within Isrealian Special Forces, however it has been decked out with RIS rails in modern conflicts. The last picture evidence of it being used by Isreal was during a raid in strip three years ago as one soldier took cover behind a corner.
I will be receiving the ARM version made by ICS, whom some people have been having some problems with at the feild, but I have wanted this gun for along time, some three years and since it finally went on clearence or sale at many places for almost $150 dollars less then it normally went for I sold the KWA M16a2 mistake? We shall soon see....

Alright so this gun is B.A. period. Just shot it one a 8.4 and the thing just sounds mean with a rate of fire compairable to my KWA with a 9.6. Everything on the gun in solid expect a full reveiw tommorrow. Only complaints are it was mis feeding ever 20th round? might just need some silicon spray in the mag and receiver. And the top cover is a pain in the rear end, but overall this gun is exactly what it was made to be and that is a top of the line rear kicker.

Unfortunently Pictures are not a reality for me might steal ems phone latter, but school and work have me by the scruff of the neck most of the time. This review will grow as I do things to the rifle on my mind right now....
Getting a bigger battery into the gun as only an 8.4 will fit. ICS does give a mock gas tube with the rifle for bigger batteries I installed this in 60secounds with no tools which to me is awesome. I really really enjoy the fact that the process was so simple.
The hop-up on the rifle... this has me worried and it is unlike anything I have ever seen on an airsoft gun. Access is simple, but the process of adjusting it odd at best and I worry about trying to get a new bucking in it. I might need some help as I am a noob at working on these things and really don't wanna break anything.
The bad of the day, the barrel is a multipeice barrel, the good? This gun is still very accurate for a gun sporting a 6.08mm inner barrel as standard. I was shooting dandilions down in the yard at 50 yards no problem with three round bursts. Definently getting a scope for this weapon as the range and accuaracy stock is more then I expected for $300.
So far this gun is amazing. BUT DO NOT BUY THIS GUN! Seriously I want it for myself. It's something new and different in airsoft. I love it so far. But 1000 rounds through it so far. Misfeeding issue persist but is getting better about 1 shoot for every 100 misfeeds. Tried the gun with a 9.6 the other day and I will not be getting a 10.8 as planned this gun is just awesome with the 9.6 and I'm constantly winding the mag.
About the magazine I have heard this gun will take other brands of AK mags, particularly the AK74 mags but I have not tried this. IF anyone has any brands of AK mags bring them so I can see if this thing is adaptable. The mag release needs some lub. It gets locked up and it could pose a problem on the feild as forcing a mag while it is locked up would result in bending the mag, the problem seems to unstick itself? Not sure if theres a bur somewhere on the release? The magazine does wiggle alittle. But the mags on the real one do this to so no worries from me and it's not enough to worry about the mag isn't going anywhere
The side folding stock is solid with no wiggle at all.
Wood on the grips is awesome. I expected it to be the orange wood so common from japan and china, but it has a nice burnt tone around the edges and looks awesome I did have to tighten these on the gun, but once again the same thing happens on the real steel version as well. Simple fix.
Bipod is solid there is news going around that a spring on it can fall out, but I'm not seeing it on mine. The thing is weilded in there. I wish it was an inche longer on the legs as it just bearly clears the magazine off the ground and is not adjustable. It can be taken off with ease, and folds into the foregrip much like the M249 Bipods. CONFIRMING it does have a bottle opener on it like the real steel but not the wire cutter, which is understandable..... i guess. Might have to find a real steel one.
Also for those of you who have thought about getting this gun, the Assualt Rifle Version has been updated with rails, so now there are 3 versions on the market.
Questions? Ask.

Only thing I see about the gun i'm not likeing is the fact that it uses stick batteries, for some reason i've never had any luck using them...so if you find a good brand let me know.

Getting a 9.6 Intellect with 2200 mah. So no problems there. Eventually gonna head up to Phils hobby shop and make a custom to fit the whole receiver and gas tube.

Yeah... Just don't buy this gun. Just don't. I love it it's nice for shootouts when it decides to work the range is awesome and it cannot shoot .20 period with the hop- up off I was still arcing way up. 25 work the best. If you're gonna get this gun buy an new motor with it, mine seems to decide just not to work or do anything now and then short in the wire somewhere.....

I found the pinch in the wire and got it straightened out should stop anymore shutdowns on me in middle of a game, the motor has not complained after another 1000 rounds through it lets hope to god this is the end of the problems as the Support Scope is now mounted on it ready to go for next week. I still do not encourage the buying of this AEG to anyone who doesn't wanna gain more grey hair, or lose hair. Maybe mine was a defect, but darn that was alot of defects.
Next projects are getting a new box mag for the M60 and getting some rails on her for the scope.
