got divorced earlier this year, so been thinking about getting back into airsoft with you guys again. the only problems i have now are what kind of gun to get and how much im willing to spend to get it(sold my KA M4 for $$)... it wont be till the end of may till i can get something and im looking at spending no more than $300 so some suggestions on where to look online, but im not looking to get a M4/16 or a AK47 unless i cant find anything else...

airsoftgi.com is always good. Huge selection, good prices, they always have discount promos, and good customer service.

Talk to Dr. Die from Crazy Cromag's either here, the Indiana airsoft collective forums or on their website. Prices are good, selection is great and service is outstanding plus your helping the local guys!

I didn't want the "standard" guns as well (i.e. m4/16 or ak) nothing wrong with them at all, I just wanted something differerent. That's why I got the Sig 556 and the Sig 552

Thats because they make everything for the M4 variants.

KWA makes a full size lipo ready g36c that gets some good reviews. I got the ICS 552. Had some problems with getting one that actually works though. JG and G&G also make 552's

G36C's are great rifles, I believe the one I used one game was by JG. It worked great and they are relatively inexpensive.

Either KWA guns would be a good choice I would NOT waste my money on CA or ICS guns, because your just paying for the name.

That CA gets some good reviews but I've had no experience with them. My ICS 552 I had piston problems with (shredded the teeth on the piston) right off the bat. 1st on lasted one day the second lasted 20 bb's. A couple of RMA's later (see my other thread EVIKE.com ~ never again) I've got a working gun. Test of time will tell if I just got lemons or if there is a serious issue. The gun comes without a top rail for optics but you can buy an after market one. Your welcome to check mine out if you come out to the field. I've had 0 problems with my Cybergun (556) but I can't attest to they fn2000. Just read that gun is produced by G&G. KWA does seem to be all the rage in out of the box guns. They've got great guns from what I've read and seen on the field.
There are lemons in every gun manufacturers history. I'd go with what you personally like.

i don't know if its just coincidence or what, but I just purchased both that F2000, AND KWA M4 from airsoftgi last week lol.
they are both amazing aegs. the kwa especially. The F2000 is alot bulkier than I thought it would be but a great rifle nonetheless.

ive narrowed it down to the FN2000, 552, and the KM4.....but might add a M249 to the list, last year when i was playing never saw anyone using a MG...could be fun, plus i carried the real thing in the army so
