I was thinking since the colder tempatures affect your GBB so much have any of you thought about getting the hot hands with the sticky back to keep your magazines warm? Might look stupid but hey if it works who cares?

My we tech operates fine in the cold. I fire about 100 rounds every two days outside for fun. All the nay sayers about Gas Guns seriously need to just buy one. My gas is cold, my mags are cold, my gun is cold, works fine, granted I dont go full auto and only get one mags worth of ammo and my bolt to stop in the back position, as compared to my WE tech's normall mag and a half in warmer weather.
Gas guns operate better in the warmth, but ive been shooting the hell out of mine and it works fine. Stop hating on GBBR's lol mine has done nothing but prove it's worth to me. It's lasted longer then most of my AEGs without some dumb thing going wrong with it.

I have used these on the actual propane can. It helps a little. But it is not enough heat transfer.

yeah im goging to agree with slacker! i have used my lm4 outside just to shoot alot and no problems whats so ever i sent shot when it was low 20s. GBBRS are so much more reastic from the function and internals. fun to shoot but i prefer the realism out of it the most. thats why im in airsoft for the realism! i am never going back to aegs ever again

Not just the bolt release. The weight of the mags, the low cap, the slight recoil, The upkeep cleaning, dissassambly. The simple system they use in the guns is very easy to understand. hell even the occassional jam, nothing like being able to take a mag out rack the bolt a couple times and be up and firing again. The noise, I didn't relize how much I hated the sound of gearbox till I had a GBBR.
Yes you do get some of this with a systema. You paid 1000+ USD for the mags, batteries and such. I got my gun for 200 USD and with all the mags and external upgrades to be where I like, not required at all Im only in 573 USD. I can respect your liking of the Systema, but the new gas systems in modern WE techs, and LM4s are much superior to the old school ones that many of the most popular reviews are made on. Magazines have gotten better all around in every brand. Yes there is cool down, but if your going to be shooting full auto so much you shouldnt have a GBBR. Yadda yadda yadda on and on and on. I would honestly go play outside with my GBBR right now, tommorrow, or any day. Rain? NP. Jump in water? NP. Bury the rifle in snow? NP. Replace some orings and clean it out real good afterwards and my gun will keep going.
