Will be updated as I test.
Day 1: Started with the medium sized channel. Shaved the channel down to a good size and installed M-Nub.
Test #1: ~400fps .20g bbs, used .30 madbull. With hop-up completely off bbs had perfectly flat trajectory for 150ft then curved up very fast.
Next Step for Day 2: Switch to large channel hop-up because mid size gives too much hop for amt of shaving I did. Shave outside diameter down and fine tune channel. Then test, refine and tune, test again, etc. Results to be posted tomorrow.
EDIT: Day 2: Installed large channel hop-up.
Test #2: ~400 fps .20g bb, used .25 and hop-up turned off. Distance 200ft (measured). .25g bbs flew straight then started to fall at 200ft, hit a 16*11" box ~85% of the time. I need to fine tune the hop adjustment but the internal work is done. I'm impressed with 200ft with no hop up on. Time to start dialing it in.

Good results with a stock KWA, but........I used a MadBull 6.03 that just made my KWA with IR-hop come totally "alive"! When you can afford it......move to the tightbore and I garuantee the surprise of your life And yes....the patch should drop right in that barrel window, mine did.

I just IR-hopped a madbull TBB .25g bbs are super overhopped but .30g is flying decently. I still need to try heavier weight bbs.

Take more material off the patch With Hop up off you should see no hop in your pellet regardless of weight.

I r-hopped a madbull barrel and put that into the M16. The M16's stock barrel that was r-hopped was put into my SR-10. So now I have 2 guns that have r-hop.

I had to trim the length by a few centimeters and sand the top to fit flush with the outside of the barrel. The inside needs fine tuning that depends on what weight bbs you want to use. Most importantly remember that you can trim it as much as you want but you cant add back on to it once you cut or sand it.

As I mentioned earlier, fine tune it so you have no over hop with the hop-up off Once you have that dialed, you should be able to run any bb weight you want
