I really want to know what you guys do for a living. Because I'm in the wrong profession if you can spend almost a grand on 2 guns and then maybe another $500+ on top of that.

Network administrator with a bad habit of burning $$ when I'm excited about a new hobby.. Not spending anything on the Fusion Engine until I get some spare rifles sold though. At least, that's what I'm telling myself.

Darth the guy you spoke to on Saturday has actually only had two issues with his gun that I'm aware of. One: we sent the gun in on warranty for him to discover it had a loose motor connector which Umarex said they repaired. They just put it back on without clamping it a bit better so it happened again on Saturday. Two: he's had troubles finding magazines that fit. The beveled edge of the magwell makes the 416 a bit picky about the mags it takes. Quick fix as Thirsty pointed out to me you can either shave a section of your mags down or that part of the magwell.

MAG and Elite Force midcaps work, as well as the Magpul EMags. The KWA mags can be utilized if the front bevel on the mag is filed down to more of a slope: What happens is the PMags and KWA's "slope" comes into contact with the forward inner bevel in the 416 magwell, preventing a secure latch. I've yet to finish filing / dremeling / sanding a KWA mag yet to say for certain how much needs shaved off. I've heard King Arms midcaps work too.
