Well Officer Stamper ( Jared ) purchased this gun when we got started with Butler Airsoft and has since been involved with the WOMEN issue " oooo ".... Good luck to Jared.. .He did state that he will be back this October for some more gaming.. We hope to see him out there with us.
So in the meantime I see a perfect opp to purchase this gun as it is sitting in his apartment collecting dust.
So the deal is made and he hands it over .
Great weight. Excellent feel....
I take it out and do some experimenting with it. Wow very accurate with .20 gram and I would not be supprised if that accuracy went up utilizing the .25 gram BB..
Same size as the Classic Army version only it feels a bit heavier " Which I like ".
ICS Boasts about their new guns having the split version gearbox which I have not had the compliments of taking apart yet. We have mastered the version 2 and 3 but have not even looked at the split design. I am guessing it will not be that hard to take care of.
However that being said the forward assist button that would be " Window dressing " here is actually used to reset your spring after each use. This feature is very nice as you know it will help prolong the life of the spring .
According to Airsplat this puppy is smoking right out of the box at 360 fps. Pre-Upgraded. This is the ICS Olympic arms version of that gun.
So we take her out for a test spin. Excellent range with very negotiable movement.
The hop up is located right under the ejection port and rotates up and down. I would say the only flaw I have found is that the dust cover does not want to stay up but that is no big deal.
Here is a pic of the weapon . It is the top one .
Very nice color and feels very solid. I have been reading where you can get a upgraded upper gearbox and open that puppy up and slide it into place with little or no hastle .
I give this dog a 10.
