They are all jg guns and i hear they are okay. Stay away from the mp5s because there are extremely horrible.

Well just offhand, looking at their site I can see the following: 1) They do not use spellcheck 2) They do not specify "full metal" and their list of metal parts is primarily small items 3) They do not specify a weight (something most AEG manufacturers are quite proud of) 4) Their video is not really suitable for minors, there are a few words in there that I thought were rather inappropriate for kids. It was cute when the "insurgents" who are trying to sound like they were conversing in Arabic suddenly yell "Oh $hit!". Now the good news is - They are made right here in the USA (I'm all for that!). The guns do appear to be fairly well built, and 330 to 350 fps right out of the box is impressive. If you point your browser to www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPath=139_24_163 , you will see the customers have rated these guns very highly. Some reviews that stood out to me: CQBR - "Just a heads up, with 420 feet per second you will not be accepted in local CQB fields. Otherwise this is a great deal.". Holy hell, 420 fps!? M4A1 - "For a "street price" in the $130 to $150 range I believe you would be hard pressed to find a better built carbine. You could spend double that to get a TM M4 and get "the same thing" or you could spend $375+ to go with a full metal Classic Army it's a matter of priorities. I would rather "build" my own M4 rather than just buy a Classic Army (which is a fantastic carbine!)." 13 reviews on the M4A1, and 12 gave it 5 stars. The other gave it 4 stars. Maybe one of us should pick one up and give it a try. I will be in Texas this week, there are a couple of good airsoft retailers in the Dallas area - I'll see if they carry Echo 1. If they do, I may grab one and give it a try. I'll keep you posted! D r e w

ECHO 1 GUNS ARE REBRANDED JG GUNS. They are not made in the U.S.A.

Echo-1 USAs are modified JGs. They don't share the same brand of internals.

I own a JG G36C, and my brother purchased an Echo1 G36C (both from Evike.com). Except for the boxes, they are identical. I have heard that Echo1 guns are rebranded JG's, the only difference being that Echo1 offers a warranty and JG does not.
As for the quality/performance: Awesome. Great range, ROF, and fps right out of the box. It's a rock solid gun, made from the highest quality ABS.
Full metal? Nope, not at all. But neither is the Tokyo Marui ($295) or the Classic Army ($290).
The price tag? $105.95 shipped (airsoftadvantage.com)
All the reviews I've seen claim that this is an exact replica of the TM and CA, the only difference being the price. Personally, I'd rather pay $106 than $300.

Im pretty impressed with Echos. Own a m16a4 myself, best friend owns a M4SPC. My M16 was crono'ed at 350 fps, while the M4 cronoed at close to 370.
Both have been field tested in a few games, and performed pretty well.
Cost was right around $150, which included 1 hi-cap mag, a 8.4v 1100 mah battery, and charger.
Sure they are plastic, but you'd be hard pressed to find a full metal gun in this price range. Keep in mind that Echo does make a few full metal AEGs as well.

I have the Echo Mp5 Vector Arms full metal version. I love it!!! It is a great gun with a decent rof and I would use it anyday for most any circumstances.

I have officially rid myself of ICS and Classic army and have went to a version 3 Echo 1 Tact Carbine... Comes with Metal bushing and had out tech recently install a bore up kit. Love it to death.. Cannot beat the weapon for the price.

Have extensive experience with Echo 1 guns. Personally I have owned both the M4 and currently the M16A4. The only issue I had with the M4 is barrel wobble, which wasn't too bad. I ended up selling it to a friend who still uses it, and apparently it has served him well. I currently still have the M16A4, which I love to death. The only complaint I have is in regards to the actual pistol grip on the rifle. It has come lose, which was solved with some electrical tape, but I am not sure if that would fly with other folks.
Just to agree with the above posters, both of my rifles fired right around 350 fps. Only thing I would suggest, is to use some of the money you saved getting an Echo 1 weapon and get a smart charger (30$?) as the charger that comes with the guns is garbage.
-Cheers!
