Alright, I recently received the newest addition to my airsoft armory, the Tokyo Marui M3 Super 90 Shorty. Don't laugh at me... it's a spring-powered shotgun. However, it fires in 3-shot blasts, and has just under the range of an AEG. It uses shotgun shells, loaded by pump-action. Each shell is a spring-loaded 30-round magazine, which, when pumped, loads 3 BB's into 3 individual barrels housed in the main outer barrel. So each shell provides 10 3-shot blasts. It's solidly constructed, and at $140.00 shipped from airsoftadvantage.com, I couldn't be happier. (Add on another $160 for extra shells and a folding stock though, and we're right at $300) Here are some stock pictures of the gun: I have yet to test the gun in a skirmish, but you'll know how that turns out.

Something about the 3-shot blast just feels good.
