This is a quick review of the Echo 1 G36c.
Real Steel: Google it.
Specifications: (ASGI)
Gearbox type: Type 3
Magazine capacity: 470 rounds
Length: 1001mm
Muzzle velocity: 330-360fps
Accuracy: 120 feet
Battery pack size: Small battery
Package includes: Manual, Magazine, battery, charger, Cleaning Rod
My G36c’s Specifications:
Velocity: 360 FPS, was shooting a high 340s when I lubed it up too much.
Rate of Fire: Around 14 BPS.
Looks:
The gun looks really good in person. On the photos it has a shine to it. Mainly because of the flash. It looks realistic except for the Flash hider, which of course is glued on. It has a very cool look. So if you don’t like being like other players with their Armalite and Ak’s then this gun might be for you.
Feel:
The gun is comfortable. It works better with a vertical grip to give you better grip and movement.
Battery:
The gun uses the Small type battery. You can buy a custom made 9.6v that will fit though. You get to it by moving the pin in the fore grip from the body. Then just slide the fore grip forward.
Sights:
The sights on the G36c are very nice. They are easy to get used to. They also are accurate, and can be adjusted. They are also full metal.
Charging Handle:
Like most if not all guns, the charging handle, when pulled backwards will reveal the hop-up. It’s a pretty good hop-up by the way. The charging handle is ambidextrous, so that is kind of neat. (Ask if you want pictures.)
Rails:
The G36c comes with two rails. The top one which is where the sights are located, and the bottom one where the vertical grip is located. The bottom one is metal, the top seems to be a strong substance. It is not metal. The two RIS rails on the sides, were bought for $20. Each one is full metal, fits great, and is Tokyo Marui. So this gun can take many lasers, sights, grips, etc. As you want.
Magazines:
The magazines are very big compared to the M4/M16 Kind. They also can be interlocked, so you don’t need to duct tape them together or whatever. They cost more than the M4 mags. The High caps usually hold around 470rds. I bought two high caps from Weaponblender for around $12 USD each. The magazines fit very well in the gun.
Stock:
The stock is very sturdy. It is very nice because you can push a button, and change the gun into a even smaller weapon. The end is also made of rubber so it is very comfortable.
Selector Switch:
Very, very nice. It is metal, and one of the best parts about it is that it clicks into place. This is handy. It has Safety, Semi, and Full Auto.
Customization:
This gun has many customization possibilities. For instance you can add sights, lights, grips, etc. It also can get rid of the carry handle type rail, on the top. For the G36’s regular built in sight. You can also remove the iron sights for ones that glow, for better night shooting. You can also switch the magwel, to use M4/M16 magazines. There are different stocks. You could also add a silence (Good luck removing the flash hider). So that you can add a longer barrel. Those are just some of the possibilities.
Metal pieces: The gun is mostly a strong ABS plastic, some parts are metal. Like some rails, Gearbox, barrel,.
Overall:
Overall its a great gun for the price and it will do the job. It can do many roles and a great selection for customization.
I would recomend the gun, but I would also recomend reading other reviews.
